Carolyn A. Fant joined GR&L in February, 2002. In her role as Manager, she is involved in the firm’s audit and review, small business and tax groups. Carolyn is a CPA in both Texas and Arkansas, a member of the AICPA, the Texas Society of CPA’s and the Arkansas Society of CPA’s.
Carolyn graduated from Texas High School in 1972. She then attended Texas Tech University, graduating with high honors in May, 1975, with a Bachelors of Business Administration in accounting.
After graduation, Carolyn worked for several years for Placid Oil Company in Dallas before moving back home to Texarkana. She worked on a temporary basis for several CPA firms and then became self-employed for twenty years specializing in small business accounting. She is an active member of the Texarkana Chapter of CPA’s where she has served as president and member of the board of directors.
While away from the office, Carolyn and her husband, Richard, are members of Hardy Memorial Methodist Church, where Carolyn is active in Sunday school, The United Methodist Women (UMW), the chancel choir and is a former member of the family life, finance and mission committees and administrative board. She has also participated in several mission trips for the church and served as an adult chaperone for UMARMY (youth mission trip) for 14 years.
